What is creativity and knowledge? A simple definition of creativity is when you use your ideas or imagination to create something. For knowledge it is the information that is obtained through things you learn or experience. A main difference between knowledge and creativity is that knowledge is something that you first need when learning a new activity as opposed to creativity which is how you would help form your ideas into an object. A similarity between the terms knowledge and creativity is that when making a piece of some sorts the two terms would give you the same results.

Even though creativity and knowledge have their similarities and differences they both work well with each other. When these two ideas are built upon each other it can create something amazing. One way these two terms build on each other is that you need to have knowledge of the past to use your creativity to think about new ideas. Another way that they can build upon each other is that your creativity comes from your knowledge which allows you to experiment or try something new. The concept of knowledge seems to always occur before the concept of creativity because before you can use your creativity to make something new you would need to have the knowledge to first know how to make it before you can experiment with it.

The concepts of creativity and knowledge can be seen when you come up with a new idea people would have different reactions to it. Some may not agree with what you made, they can even hate it, or they can also love or relate to your idea. Some ideas that you may come up with may not even work out the way that you may have wanted. You can learn from the experience and then try doing it again afterward. When you create something new or come up with a new idea it involves you to use both knowledge and creativity.
